Changelog

New features, improvements, and fixes from the Buildstash team

Azure DevOps Pipelines

Our extension for sending build files from Azure Pipelines into Buildstash is now live in the Visual Studio Marketplace for Azure DevOps.

You'll find simple instructions to setup an Azure Pipelines connection and start sending your builds into Buildstash by navigating in the Buildstash app to your application settings, then "Connections".

All of our packages supporting external integrations are open source, so as always - please feel free to extend, fork, and send in PRs.

UI refresh, distribution groups, release share links, and tons more!

We have a massive product update for you this month.

UI refresh

  • Light mode
  • Improved navigation
  • Improved build list filtering
  • Hundreds of other improvements across the app..

More powerful Releases

Release management has seen massive improvements, and Releases are now way more powerful across the app.

You can now create instant release "share links" much like you've been able to do previously for Builds.

Distribution groups

Push out new releases to groups of testers at the click of a button.

In-app support and feedback function

You can now request support or provide feedback right in the app. Plus, we now have a public roadmap, so you can see what's coming next.

We're excited to have even more product launches on the horizon over the coming month!

Improved iOS & Android distribution

We now have improved iOS and Android build processing and distribution functionality.

When you upload an Android App Bundle (.aab) file, we will now auto-generate a universal Android Package (.apk) allowing direct install to device.

iOS builds which are signed for in-house distribution (ad-hoc or enterprise) and shared in your workspace or via created share links, will now guide the user through direct install with a helpful wizard.

And on both platforms we now display additional data extracted from the package in the "build info" panel.

More target platforms!

We’ve added a ton more platform options to the Buildstash web uploader!

Platforms aren’t just a handy way to keep your builds organized, they’ll soon unlock platform-specific features and deployment targets.

GitHub Action integration
GitHub Action integration

Our official GitHub Actions integration is now available in the Marketplace.

This makes it easier than ever to send build artifacts from your GitHub Actions workflows into Buildstash.
